John Bolton, Fred Hoyle and Willy Fowler await the ferry across the loch in northern Sutherland, Scotland, in June 1968. Bolton created the Parkes Radioastronomy Observatory in Australia and was a 1968 visitor at IOTA in Cambridge. This day was a drive-around with Clayton (rather than a climbing day) from their hotel at Aultnagar Lodge, Andrew Carnegie's Scotland home.
