Robert M.Walker and Donald Clayton at the Wye Plantation Workshop "Interrelationships among Circumstellar, Interstellar, and Interplanetary Dust", Feb. 27, 1985. (NASA Conference Publication 2403 (1986)). Awareness of dust research for nuclear astrophysics grew at this NASA sponsored workshop. Walker and Clayton continued the tradition of this workshop annually after Clayton's move to Clemson University in 1989.
