Clemson University Wordmark

Donald Clayton and Peter Parker at the 1993 Gordon Conference "Origins of Solar Systems". This photo is from two overlapping July 1993 conferences at Colby-Sawyer College, NH. These two were friends in laboratory nuclear astrophysics during the golden 1950s and 1960s at Caltech. On this site see "1963 Kellogg End of Era". On this occasion Parker was attending the Conference on Nuclear Chemistry at the same site as the conference on Origins of Solar Systems, where they accidentally met again. Moshe Gai can be seen left and behind Clayton.
