Ernst Zinner and his wife Brigitte Wopenka (left) at the Meteoritical Society Banquest on Maui with Donald and Nancy Clayton. At this 60th meeting of the Meteoritical Society, July 21-25, 1997, Zinner received the Leonard medal of the Meteoritical Society for his pioneering work on the isotopic ratios in presolar grains. Meeting and this banquet were held at the Maui Prince Hotel. Clayton was Leonard Medalist in 1991 (see 1991 Livermore photos on this site).
