Friedl Thielemann, Donald Clayton and David Arnett in Sedona AZ for the conference on nuclear astrophysics at high T and low lifetime (Aug. 8-14, 1999). Thielemann and Arnett were coleagues on a series of works while both were at University of Chicago. Arnett's first faculty position was at Rice University (1969-71), where he and Clayton guided several students (Woosley, Howard, Hainebach) in an explosive outpouring of new work in explosive nucleosynthesis.
