Donald Clayton with Fred Hoyle in Bournemouth on 17 June, 2000, one week prior to Hoyle's 85th birthday. On this occasion they discussed the extinct radioactivities within the early solar system with relation to a new model for their occurrence that Hoyle intends to publish. Hoyle has resided in Bournemouth for the last decade.
